My name is Marini Jackson and I started Virtue Financial Solutions to empower women to become financially literate, understand personal finances, and take control of her finances. I grew up hearing the advice to go to school, get a good education and get a good job but was never told anything about what to do with my finances once I got paid other than to honor God and give tithes to my local church. What happens with the other ninety percent is where I got stuck. I started learning more about credit, budgeting, savings, net worth and the importance of having a will, trust, and power of attorney as well as other financial must haves.

These topics were all on my to do list to get started with "one day." But that day never seemed to come. I'd ask myself, what would I do if something major happened? Would I be in a good financial place to take care of myself? I've been to a place where my finances used to keep me awake at night. I'd go to bed in fear of losing my job, wondering if I could afford to pay for a major expense if something broke at home or on my car.

Once I got intentional about financial literacy and implementing what I learned into my personal life, I started seeing results - increasing my credit score, building an emergency fund, paying off debts (my car, two personal loans, and a student loan), and I refinanced my home. Also, I began to share what I learned with my family and friends. It gives me great joy when my loved ones and clients began to increase their credit scores, reduce monthly car payments and purchase new homes!

I invite you to join me on your financial literacy journey. Feel free to join my mailing list or contact me for a consultation.
